The WWYSA Fun Day returns on Saturday 18th July and we want to see as many of you there as possible. \nWhether you’ve been a member for years or you’ve only just found us\, this is the day the whole club comes together\, on and off the water\, for a proper summer celebration. Great sailing\, great company\, and the kind of atmosphere that reminds you exactly why you joined. It’s always one of the highlights of the WWYSA year\, and this one is shaping up to be no exception. \nTickets are £5 per person if you are a WWYSA member\, of £10 if not.  Please choose your tickets below and pay via our secure online payment processing. \nPrefer to pay on the day? SUMMARY:2026 Pre-Season Working Party
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””]The new season is nearly here and we want to make sure our boats and equipment are safe\, rigged\, and ready to sail from day one! \nWe are holding our annual pre-season working party day; checking and preparing the boats\, rigging\, and kit so everything is in great shape for our first sessions on the water. Once the boats are sorted\, there’ll be plenty of other jobs around the site too: cleaning\, tidying\, and a bit of gardening for those who fancy it. Please wear old clothes and bring any weeding\, cutting\, or digging tools you have.\n\nEvery pair of hands makes a difference\, and it’s a brilliant opportunity to catch up with fellow members ahead of the season. Everyone is welcome\, kids\, parents\, grandparents\, the more the merrier.\n\nWe’ll provide bacon sarnies during the morning break\, so bring a packed lunch and make a day of it. We’ll also be running a small raffle for a brand-new buoyancy aid and some other goodies\, and there’ll be a pre-season kit sale with donations helping to generate much needed funds for WWYSA.\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
