We are holding our annual pre-season working party day; checking and preparing the boats, rigging, and kit so everything is in great shape for our first sessions on the water. Once the boats are sorted, there’ll be plenty of other jobs around the site too: cleaning, tidying, and a bit of gardening for those who fancy it. Please wear old clothes and bring any weeding, cutting, or digging tools you have.

Every pair of hands makes a difference, and it’s a brilliant opportunity to catch up with fellow members ahead of the season. Everyone is welcome, kids, parents, grandparents, the more the merrier.

We’ll provide bacon sarnies during the morning break, so bring a packed lunch and make a day of it. We’ll also be running a small raffle for a brand-new buoyancy aid and some other goodies, and there’ll be a pre-season kit sale with donations helping to generate much needed funds for WWYSA.
