In late June, an RYA film crew spent the evening with us at WWYSA, filming our very own Anna Ballinger.
Anna received an RYA Impact Award at the RYA Dinghy Show back in February, and off the back of some conversations there, the RYA asked whether she would be willing to be interviewed on camera and filmed running a session on the water. She said yes.
We got near perfect conditions for it: enough wind to sail properly and plenty of sun. The result is a genuinely lovely piece of film, and our lake and facilities have never looked better.
About the Impact Awards
The RYA Impact Awards recognise the people, clubs and organisations working to improve how we all get on the water. Anna’s was in the rising star category, for a volunteer under 25 who has made an outstanding contribution to the boating community.
Well done Anna, thoroughly deserved.
